Originally from Leesburg, GA, he has called Fort Myers his home since 2003. As the co-founder and former managing director of TerraCap Management, LLC, a private equity commercial real estate fund manager, he was instrumental in sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring over $1.3 billion in private real estate transactions, representing more than 10 million square feet of properties across the United States. His expertise in overseeing property repositioning, hotel asset renovation, and land development management has been pivotal in enhancing property value and delivering exceptional results.
Outside the corporate world, Michael and his wife share a love for running together, embracing an active lifestyle that reflects their dedication to personal growth and perseverance. Music holds a special place in Michael’s heart. He grew up playing drums, and now enjoys sharing the joy of music with his daughter as they sing and play together. Susana Alvarez Davis is a seasoned real estate professional and a proud owner of Worthington Realty, Inc. With an impressive background and a heart dedicated to helping families find their dream homes, Susana stands as a beacon of trust and integrity in the real estate industry.
Her journey began when she and her family immigrated to the United States in 1993, settling in Miami before eventually moving to Cape Coral. Susana’s early exposure to diverse cultures and languages laid the foundation for her exceptional communication skills, as she fluently speaks Spanish, Russian, and English.
A true testament to her dedication and work ethic, Susana obtained her real estate license at the age of 18. Her passion for education led her to Florida Gulf Coast University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (cum laude) followed by a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation. While in college, Susana showcased her remarkable versatility by working as a controller for a local real estate brokerage, all while achieving top sales accolades.
Susana joined TerraCap Management, a prominent commercial real estate private equity fund management company in 2011. After meeting the rigorous requirements and successfully passing the examinations, she earned her CPA credentials in 2012. Her ability to lead swiftly propelled her to the position of Director of Finance and Investor Relations, where she orchestrated the financial, accounting, and regulatory aspects of institutional and high net worth investors. She played an instrumental role in the acquisition and management of over 80 commercial real estate assets as well as the RFP process and onboarding of institutional investors.
Susana’s tenure at TerraCap Management strengthened her belief in the power of people. Understanding the significance of a cohesive team, she leveraged individual strengths to foster an environment where each member could thrive. She enjoys taking walks through the many local nature preserves across Southwest Florida, always on the lookout for her favorite bird, the Great Blue Heron. Her love for traveling has led her to explore some of the most captivating corners of the world. She has a special place in her heart for the rugged wilderness of Alaska, the art and culture of Italy, the lush jungles of Costa Rica, and the rolling hills of Scotland. With a passion for health and fitness, Susana is an avid runner and enjoys combining her love of traveling by running races across the country. She enjoys reading historical fiction, biographies, and books that guide her on her journey of personal development.
